Gangsta Granny

This hour-long comedy special premiered on BBC1 on Boxing Day, 2013. It was scripted by Andy Riley, Kevin Cecil and David Walliams, based on David’s much-loved children’s novel. It’s about a boy called Ben who thinks his scrabble-playing, cabbage eating Grandma is really boring, until he discovers that she used to be an international jewel thief. Together, Ben and Granny plan the heist of the century.

The cast includes Miranda Hart, David Walliams, Julia McKenzie, Rob Brydon, Joanna Lumley and Robbie Williams.
