Help me design my hallway!
I’ve decided to draw all over my house. I own it, I don’t rent it, and it took me a while to fully appreciate that I can do that kind of thing now there’s no landlord to stop me. The hallway, and all the way up the stairs, is going to be covered with a sprawling black and white mural of all sorts of unconnected images.
In the last couple of weeks I’ve done a moonbase (not as good as one of Tom Gauld’s, who is the master of drawing cartoon moonbases, but I’m still happy enough with it), a hermit crab holding a lollipop, and a dice where all the sides feature a six – the last one is a symbol of good fortune which I tend to draw a lot when doodling.
I’m very interested to see if anyone has any suggestions for what I should draw next. Please suggest anything you like to luckyheathercomic@googlemail.com . The only rules are; no rabbits, pigs or lies, cause this is for relaxation so I don’t want to do professional stuff there. And it mustn’t be unsuitable for kids cause we’ve got two in this house.
I’ll keep posting new hallway pics as I do them so you can keep up you up to date with what ideas I’m using.
Click to enlarge the pictures to get a better look at my hallway house style; and the longer view should give you a sense of scale. Looking forward to your ideas!
Love
